Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how AdPrep, LLC ("AdPrep", "we", "us", "our"), a California limited liability company that operates the AdPrep service, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service. By using AdPrep, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address. Your password is encrypted and managed by our authentication provider (Supabase) — we do not have access to your plaintext password.

Business Information: During onboarding, we collect information you provide about your business, including business name, industry, location, advertising goals, and budget. This information is used to generate your personalized advertising plan.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including features used, plans generated, and performance metrics you voluntarily log in the ROI tracker.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) generate personalized advertising plans and AI-powered recommendations; (b) process payments and manage your subscription; (c) communicate with you about your account, including product updates, plan reminders, and performance check-ins via email; (d) improve and maintain the Service; (e) enforce our Terms of Service. You may unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party providers to operate the Service. These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function:

  • Anthropic (AI Provider): Your business profile information (business name, industry, location, goals, budget) is sent to Anthropic to generate your advertising plans and AI-powered features. Your email address, password, and payment information are never sent to the AI provider. Anthropic processes data under strict contractual obligations and does not use your data to train their models.
  • Supabase (Database & Authentication): Stores your account data, business profiles, and generated plans. Hosted on AWS with encryption in transit and at rest.
  • Stripe (Payment Processor): Processes Pro subscription payments. When you subscribe to Pro, Stripe collects and processes your payment information (credit card number, billing address) directly. We do not store your full credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data under PCI-DSS compliance. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.
  • Resend (Email Provider): Delivers product emails (welcome, check-ins, plan reminders). Receives only your email address — no business data or ad plans are shared with Resend.
  • Twilio (Call Tracking — Pro feature): When you opt into AdPrep's call tracking feature ("Sense"), we use Twilio to provision and operate the tracking phone numbers shown in your ad plans. Twilio receives the metadata required to route inbound calls: the tracking phone number being called, the caller's phone number, area code, and approximate location (city/state derived from the caller's area code), call timestamps, and call duration. Twilio also stores voicemail recordings when calls go unanswered. Call audio for answered calls is NOT recorded by AdPrep or Twilio under our default configuration. See Twilio's Privacy Policy for details on their data handling.
  • Vercel (Hosting): Hosts and serves the AdPrep application. May collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, access times).

4. Cookies & Tracking

AdPrep uses essential cookies required for the Service to function, including authentication session cookies and security tokens. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not use analytics tools that track you across other websites.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your account data, business profiles, generated plans, and performance metrics within 30 days. Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion. To request deletion, email us at hello@adprep.ai.

7. Sponsored Access & Promo Codes

When you redeem a promotional code for sponsored Pro access, we may share your email address and the date you redeemed the code with the sponsoring organization. This sharing only occurs if you explicitly consent during the redemption process by checking the consent box. We do not share your business data, ad plans, performance metrics, or any other account information with sponsors. You may contact us at hello@adprep.ai to inquire about or revoke this consent at any time.

8. Call Tracking (Sense)

Call tracking ("Sense") is an optional Pro feature. When enabled for a business, AdPrep provisions one or more unique Twilio phone numbers per ad platform. People calling those numbers are connected to your forward-to phone number; we record metadata about each call so you can see which ad platform drove which call.

What we collect for each call: the tracking number that was called, the caller's phone number (if not blocked), the caller's area code, an approximate location derived from that area code (city/state — not GPS), the date and time of the call, the call duration, whether the caller was "in your service area" based on area code matching, and whether the call was answered or rolled to voicemail.

What we do NOT collect: we do not record the audio content of answered calls under our default configuration. The only audio we store is voicemails left by callers when an answered call rolls to voicemail; voicemails are stored by Twilio and made available to you through the AdPrep dashboard for the retention period below.

Whisper message: by default, when you receive a forwarded call, a brief automated message plays on your side announcing the ad platform that drove the call (e.g., "Google call from AdPrep"). This is for your benefit only and is not heard by the caller. You can disable this in Settings.

Caller notice and call recording laws: AdPrep does not record the audio of answered calls. Voicemails are recorded only after the caller has been routed to voicemail because no one answered. Some jurisdictions (including California) require all parties to consent to call recording. You are responsible for evaluating and complying with the call recording, call tracking, and consumer-disclosure laws that apply to your business and your callers. See our Terms of Service for the corresponding contractual obligations.

Retention: call metadata (caller phone number, location, duration, etc.) and voicemail recordings are retained for ninety (90) days by default, or for the period you select in your call tracking settings (currently 30, 60, 90, or 365 days). After your configured retention period, the call metadata is automatically deleted from our database and the voicemail audio is deleted from our voicemail provider (Twilio). Deletion runs as a scheduled daily job; in practice this means records past the retention threshold are removed within 24 hours of becoming eligible.

Outcomes you record: if you label a call with an outcome — for example, marking it Won, Lost, or otherwise advancing it from “new,” or entering a deal value — we keep that outcome record beyond the retention period above so it remains part of your long-term performance and revenue history. The retained record contains only de-identified outcome metadata: the ad platform/source, the date, the call duration, the outcome you selected, and any deal amount you entered. When such a record passes your retention period, we still remove the caller’s personal information from it on the normal schedule — the caller’s phone number, area code, approximate location, and any voicemail audio are deleted.

Your control: you can turn call tracking off at any time from your business settings. When you turn it off, your tracking numbers are placed in a thirty-day quarantine state during which they will not receive new calls. After thirty days they are permanently released. Disabling Pro has the same effect. Past call logs and voicemails older than the retention period are deleted regardless of feature state, except for the de-identified outcome records described above, whose caller personal information is still removed on the same schedule.

9. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use AdPrep. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a user under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@adprep.ai.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate information; (c) request deletion of your account and associated data; (d) request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@adprep.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

California Residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a CCPA request, email us at hello@adprep.ai.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
