See which ads
make your phone ring.

Every ad platform gets its own tracking number. When someone calls, you know exactly which ad drove it — plus where they're from and whether it was a real conversation or a 20-second tire-kick.

How it works

One forward-to number. One tracking number per ad platform.

Setup is part of the AdPrep plan flow. You answer two questions; we handle the rest.

01

Tell us your forward-to number

One phone number that you actually answer. Calls from all your tracking numbers route here. No more juggling separate numbers per platform — it all comes into the phone you already use.

02

We provision a number per platform

When you generate or refresh your plan, AdPrep automatically buys one tracking number per ad platform on your plan (Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.) — in your area code when inventory allows.

03

Paste the numbers into your ads

Each ad platform sees a different tracking number. People who call get connected to your real phone. We log which platform drove the call, the caller’s location, the duration, and whether it qualified as real intent (>2 min).

What you get

Built for SMBs, not enterprise.

The signals that actually matter for a 1- to 50-person business deciding whether ads are working.

01

Per-platform attribution

Stop guessing which platform drove the call. Each ad source gets its own number; we surface the source on every call in the dashboard.

02

Qualified-intent flag

Calls longer than 2 minutes are flagged as real intent. Filters out price tire-kicks so you see actual lead volume, not vanity total-calls.

03

In-area filter

Caller area code matched against your business location. Service-area businesses can see at a glance whether ads are reaching local prospects vs. accidentally pulling out-of-state.

04

Voicemail capture

Missed call after-hours? The caller can leave a voicemail. It lands in your dashboard with an inline audio player. Don't lose leads to bad timing.

05

Forward-to self-test

One-click test that calls your real phone from our tracking number. Press 1 to confirm forwarding works. Verified badge stays visible so you trust the setup.

06

Continuous attribution across plan refreshes

When you refresh your plan and a platform stays in your mix, its tracking number stays the same. The history you’ve built up doesn’t reset. Continuous data, continuous learning.

FAQ

Common questions about call tracking

Everything you'd want to know before turning it on.

What is call tracking?
Call tracking is a way to know which of your ads is driving phone calls to your business. Instead of putting your real phone number in your ads, you put a unique tracking number per platform. When someone calls that number, the call forwards to your real phone — and we log which platform drove it, where the caller is from, and how long the call lasted.
Will my callers know they're dialing a tracking number?
No. Callers see the tracking number in your ad and dial it. The call forwards seamlessly to your real phone, and from the caller's perspective it's identical to calling you directly. The tracking happens entirely on our side — caller experience is unchanged.
Can I get a local area code?
Yes. By default we try to provision tracking numbers in the area code of the location you put on your business profile. If no inventory is available in that area code, we fall back to a nearby area code or, last resort, an area code that matches your forward-to phone. Most US area codes have inventory at any given time.
Is this a separate product I have to set up?
No. Call tracking is built into your AdPrep plan. The forward-to phone you enter during onboarding, plus the ad platforms in your plan, automatically determine which tracking numbers get provisioned. There's no separate dashboard to learn, no separate bill, no API connection to wire up.
Are calls recorded?
No. We don't record the audio of answered calls — only the metadata (who called, when, how long, from where). The only audio we store is voicemails that callers leave when nobody answers. This is intentional: call recording is regulated differently in every state (California is a two-party-consent state, for example), and most SMBs don't want the legal complexity. You stay in the clear.
What is a "qualified intent" call?
A call that lasted longer than 2 minutes. The 2-minute threshold is the industry-standard signal that the caller is serious — they got past pricing tire-kicks and are actually exploring. Calls under 2 minutes get logged with all the other metadata but don't count toward your "qualified leads" total. Lets you separate real conversations from drive-by inquiries.
Do I have to install anything on my website or ad accounts?
No. Tracking numbers are generated as part of your AdPrep plan, with one number per ad platform. You paste the relevant number into each ad campaign's call extension or ad copy. That's it — no JavaScript pixel, no SDK, no ad-account API connection.
How many tracking numbers do I get?
Up to 3 active tracking numbers per user, across all your businesses. The cap protects everyone's Pro pricing from agency-style abuse (10 businesses × 3 numbers each would eat Twilio costs whole). If you need more numbers, we're working on a higher-tier plan with an unlimited cap — get in touch at hello@adprep.ai if you want early access.
What happens to my tracking numbers if I cancel Pro?
Your numbers go into a 30-day quarantine state. During those 30 days, calls to the tracking numbers stop forwarding and you can resubscribe to restore them with continuous attribution. After 30 days, the numbers are permanently released back to the carrier — at that point a new Pro subscription gets fresh numbers.
How long does setup take?
About 60 seconds. You answer two onboarding questions ('Do you want call tracking?' and 'What number should calls forward to?'), then generate a plan. We provision your numbers automatically as part of the plan generation. You can run a self-test call from inside the app to confirm forwarding works before you put the numbers into your ads.
